Anger Management
May 29th, 2008As a young adult I had anger issues. That is, I wasn’t able to control my anger and it often escalated to rage. Those were bad times and it took me a while to realize that it was a problem. One day I decided that I was going to take control of my anger and look at the moment at hand from a different perspective. This tool, being able to see things from a different perspective, works like magic. One minute you are angry, the next minute you are at peace with yourself and your situation. I’ll share another tool I use to rid my anger. It is a secret tool of mine – a punching bag. Now don’t laugh, but five minutes of punching the crap out of a bag can do wonders. Don’t knock it ‘til you try it. And isn’t it more fun to punch a bag for five minutes than to be upset for hours or longer? Live your life to the fullest every day – don’t waste time being angry. Beautiful Spaces
May 27th, 2008Have you ever noticed how you feel when you are in a beautiful space? I have been in love with Medieval European architecture for as long as I can remember. When I am in one of these colossal stone structures I feel very connected to the divine. The ancient masons and architects certainly knew what they were doing. They used sacred geometry to build their sacred temples, churches and castles. I feel a similar divinity when I am inside a Buddhist temple. I am unsure if these master architects used sacred geometry or not, but I am sure they were using the principles of Feng Shui – the art of energy flow. My dream is for all structures on the planet, whether a house of worship, education, business, healing or residential, to be built with the wisdom of both sacred geometry and Feng Shui, and to add to the perfection – may they all use sustainable, free energy systems. Could this be your dream as well? If we all had the same dream imagine how much more beauty we would have in our world. Blessings,

Angels in Disguise
May 26th, 2008Have you ever met an angel in disguise? And if you did how did you know? I have met many people and animals over the years and once in a while…….you just get the feeling. Some beings have a spark in their eye, a spark that isn’t common. When I meet someone with the spark, I secretly know that this is an angel in disguise. You don’t meet them often, but when you do you will know it because other than the spark they will usually pass on a simple message that seems to put your whole life together. Some little piece of information that you just happened to have needed – they offer as if it was casual conversation. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen …..angels are everywhere and they will show up when you need them. Blessings,

Fear is the Mind Killer
May 23rd, 2008
Looking into the eyes of a young child takes you to a place of pure innocence. They do not have agendas or negative thoughts. They simply give love and want love back. What a simple concept. I often wonder at what moment or age a child starts to have negative thoughts and if it is related to fear – as many experts would point out. And if it is fear, is it natural or influenced? The author Frank Herbert said “Fear is the mind killer.” I do believe he was on to something. When I experience fear or negative thoughts in can be quite debilitating. Now I know why so many sages of the ages have told us to remain childlike – for mental health. Perhaps we should all get in touch with our inner child. Blessings,

Food Blessings
May 22nd, 2008Have you ever thought about how much energy it takes to get food to your table? Whenever I eat I give a prayer of thanks, because I truly am grateful for my food. I think about all of the people, plants, and animals that worked and sacrificed to bring me the nourishment I am about to receive. My prayer goes like this: I give thanks to all of the people, plants, and animals that went into bringing me this food, please let it nourish my body, amen. Are you conscious of where your food comes from? Some of it has been on a long journey to get to you. Enjoy! Blessings,
Rev. Zoe
Intuition
May 22nd, 2008Learning how to tap into your intuition can be a great asset for decision making. Here is a simple meditation to help you get insight. Start by getting into a comfortable position, close your eyes and focus on your breath. Let your belly expand as you breath in and contract as you breath out. Now for a moment tune into your third eye, which is in the center of your forehead between your eyebrows. Ask your question and then simply listen and look. Look into your third eye. Do this for about five minutes and when you are done take note of any images or messages that came to you. Repeat if needed. Blessings,
Rev. Zoe
